About this calculator
Create a countdown to any important date — a birthday, a deadline, a vacation, or an event. Pick a target date and optionally a specific time, and see exactly how many days remain. The countdown updates instantly as you change the inputs.
How it works
The calculator compares your target date to today's date (normalized to midnight) and computes the difference in whole days. If the target date is in the past, it shows how many days have passed since that date instead. The default target is one week from today.
Common uses
Wedding countdowns, tracking how many days until a trip, counting down to a product launch, or simply answering "how many days until" any date you care about.
